Amina Shabani Nyuri

Amina Shabani Nyuri is the Managing Director at Ifakara Biotech, with a strong passion for health innovation, particularly in women's health. She is leading efforts to develop point-of-care testing for preeclampsia in Tanzania. Alongside her role at Ifakara Biotech, she serves as a Public Health Researcher at the Ifakara Health Institute, bringing over 8 years of experience in biomedical research and innovation. Amina holds a degree in Microbiology and Immunology degree from the University of Dar-es-Salaam and is committed to advancing healthcare solutions through research, innovation and entrepreneurship.
