ABOUT US

Villgro Africa & Jaza Rift Ventures, in collaboration with Rice360 Institute for Global Health Technologies, Kenyatta University, Ifakara Innovation Hub, and PDP Forum, convened the first annual pan-African medical technology conference in August 2023.

The aim of this platform is to build a vision for a comprehensive and transformative African medical technology industry.

The next convening will happen from 28-30 August 2024 in Nairobi, Kenya.

A look at TAMC 2023

The first annual Transforming African MedTech Conference was a great success, with stakeholders in attendance who contributed their unique expertise to constructive discussions and panels.

We left the event with not only plenty of inspiration and motivation, but an action plan for how to move the medtech space in Africa forward.

And this is only the beginning. We look forward to convening again next year to continue on the journey.
